Equipment

Skis: Men 160 cm length, women 150cm length. Race skis for COMP Team. Race skis recommended for DEVO team, but could go with 75-80 under foot. 

Boots: Skimo race boot. Ex: Scarpa Alien, Dynafit PDG, Atomic Backland

Bindings: Race bindings, preferably without a turning heal, just a flap. brakes are required for the 2024 season for all USA Skimo Sanctioned races. 

Poles: About 2 inches below the armpit. Skimo specific or nordic poles with larger baskets, or lightweight adjustable. 

Skins: Tip rip for Skimo transitions. Must have 2 pairs of skins. Trimmed to about 6-8 inches behind the heel piece. 

Helmet: Dual certified (climbing + skiing) 

Headlamps: At least 600 lumen, best to have a backup battery or spare headlamp in your pack 

Clear glasses: for eye protection and skiing at night

Avalanche gear: Beacon, probe, shovel

Clothing

Puffy coat: Dynafit Radical Down Jacket is the team jacket (team order in September)

Wind pant + wind/soft shell jacket

Light weight gloves

Heavy gloves/mitten For cold nights in the pack

Race Pack: must be able to carry skis with 2 attachment points 

Race Suit: Included in the COMP team
